1 Language courses from beginner's to advanced level
We offer
tailor-made intensive courses in Norwegian language and culture.
Courses have a duration of one week, up to four months.
2 Exam courses
A. Norskprøve 3
(intermediate level).
The intermediate level test requires competence in written
and oral language skills and is based on the official curriculum "Norwegian
as a Second Language for Adult Immigrants". The certificate
documents the intermediate level reached in Norwegian. The
aim of our course is to prepare the student for both the written
and the oral exam.
B. Test i norsk - høyere nivå (“Bergenstesten“ — Advanced
level). Written exam.
The advanced level test (written exam) is a standard test
which may be taken by foreign citizens who wish to apply for
admission to Norwegian universities and colleges. The test
may also be useful for companies or institutions which require
their employees to have a certificate which indicate an advanced
level of proficiency in Norwegian as a second or foreign language.
The aim of our course is to prepare the student for the different
components of the test.
C. Test i norsk - høyere nivå (“Bergenstesten“ — Advanced
level). Oral exam.
This test is primarily intended for medical doctors and nurses
who have been trained outside Norway. We will prepare you for
the oral exam by focusing on oral skills and reading
comprehension.
3 Intensive courses for business and private persons
We offer courses adapted to your interests and needs, for
example courses related to different language skills. Our aim
is to offer high quality, flexible courses.
4 Topic courses
We offer courses with a variety of topics, for example Norwegian
history, art, literature, film, music, folklore, food traditions,
nature, outdoor activities and social life. These courses greatly
emphasize social activities and excursions.
5 Courses in second language theory and didactics
We arrange courses and seminars for educational institutions
wherever you are, or here in Røros.
